Meatpacking District

New York, NY ~ These pictures were taken on a stroll in the Meatpacking district of Chelsea, NY. The walk began on 14th street toward The High Line, an elevated park developed from old railways. There was a surprise shower, so we exited the High Line on 18th St., toward Chelsea Piers. Robstown, TX ~ If you have ever lived in south Texas, you know that there are only two seasons: hot (summer) and muggy/rainy (winter). Usually there isn’t much to be desired about the rainy season; mud everywhere and mosquitoes the size of hummingbirds. Jackson Square

New Orleans, LA ~ Jackson Square, named after Andrew Jackson, is a huge attraction in New Orleans. It is located in the French Quarter around many other historical sites, including the St. Louis Cathedral (also pictured).
