Québec, Canada ~ These photos were taken while visiting Parc Boisé du Quai, at the end of Rue-Sainte Anne in the city of Baie-Saint-Paul. We wandered down the only street we could find that would take us to the water. Discovering the park and walking trails was a pleasant surprise. Baie-Saint-Paul has many wonderful restaurants and historic attractions. We just need to brush up on our French, because this is an exclusively French speaking area. Advertisements
New Orleans, LA ~ My sister entrusted me to take bridal pictures of her in preparation for her upcoming wedding. We broke many laws scouring New Orleans for the best locations. “Permits? We don’t need no stinking permits!” What you don’t see in these photos are the many onlookers shouting (mostly) words of support and encouragement. We had a lot of fun running around the city in a wedding dress, and can’t wait to do it again… just kidding! Love […]
New York, NY ~ These pictures were taken on a stroll in the Meatpacking district of Chelsea, NY. The walk began on 14th street toward The High Line, an elevated park developed from old railways. There was a surprise shower, so we exited the High Line on 18th St., toward Chelsea Piers. There are many things to do at the piers; a golf club/driving range, sports center, bowling alley, lighthouse, restaurants, and other businesses. We thought we’d wait the rain […]

New Orleans, LA ~ This goes without saying – New Orleans is a fun place! The first few pictures (theater and street car lines) were taken at the beginning of Canal Street. The next four pictures were taken at the end of Canal, which stops at the Mississippi river. While on this trip, my camera and I got caught in a rain storm. My first love – my first fancy camera – died on this trip. The last three pictures in this […]

Boise, ID ~ Boise is a beautiful town with many parks and trails. My daily walk consisted of walking past the capitol, through downtown, and past this particular park: The Idaho Anne Frank Human Rights Memorial. In addition to the beautiful fountain and sculptures, the memorial park contains a large “Quote Wall” featuring historical quotes from inspirational figures. The nearby bridges are also spectacular. Wintertime was fun; living with snow was new to me, now it is just an annoyance.
