Tuscon, AZ ~ Mission San Xavier del Bac, also known as the White Dove of the Desert, has beautiful desert gardens and courtyards. Not pictured: very active prairie dog colony.

Santa Fe, NM ~ The first two photos were taken within the city of Santa Fe, but the remaining were taken within an Indian reservation, location unknown (unremembered). Sometimes we just start driving in a direction until we feel like stopping. Therefore, I can’t remember how we arrived at this particular reservation outside of Santa Fe, but I do remember stopping due to the beautiful church grounds.
Washington, D.C. ~ I had the pleasure of staying at the Capitol Hill Hotel, located in (you guessed it!) Capitol Hill. Not only was the hotel beautiful and full of wonderful amenities, it was also located in a charming historic residential area. It was so much fun walking around the neighborhood, and enjoying the local restaurants and businesses. It is easy to imagine living here, if I had an endless supply of money. New Orleans, LA ~ Jackson Square, named after Andrew Jackson, is a huge attraction in New Orleans. It is located in the French Quarter around many other historical sites, including the St. Louis Cathedral (also pictured). On almost any given day you can enjoy the works of local artists and musicians in the square. Sadly, on this given day a storm rolled in and drenched myself and my trusty camera.
