Riviera, TX ~

These photos were taken while on a drive to the country side. If you happen to live in these parts, you’ll know that everywhere is technically the “country side.” Either way, this was one of those afternoon drives where we went off of the main highway just to see what we could find. The Our Lady of Consolation church is located south of Kingsville, TX on Country Road 628. This church has a fascinating history; established around 1908, served as a school, convent, and place of worship for early settlers. If you are hungry after church, you can keep going east on Country Road 628 to the Kings Inn on Baffin Bay (est. 1945) for some of the best sea food in these parts! The remaining pictures are of an antiques store off of Highway 77.
