If you make your way to New Orleans, the St. Louis Cemeteries are a must see. These cemeteries are said to be the oldest of its type with above ground tombs. There are many famous people buried here, including Voodoo Queen Marie Laveau. I’m sure it is just a coincidence, but after passing her grave and making light of it, I came down with a flu bug a couple of days later. This set of photos was taken with a disposable camera. I don’t typically enhance photos, but these were adjusted due to poor quality of the originals. You will notice unusually bright hues and tints, for an extra spooky quality.
