The story of The Baker Hotel is one of triumph and decline, and hopefully a glorious rebirth! Talks are currently underway about restoring and re-opening the hotel, but it may take considerable effort as funds are still needed. For years the hotel was a beacon for those seeking healing through mineral water therapy, and attracted many famous people of the day. Mineral water still exists in these parts, but the hotel now primarily attracts urban explorers and ghost hunters. I hope to live to see the day when The Baker is brought back to life.
