Montréal, Canada ~ Montréal is a vibrant city, mixed with historic and modern architecture, and equally diverse citizens. Our stay here was brief, but we fell in love instantly. These photos were taken on a stroll one afternoon around the city. I usually jot down the names of the streets and major locations, but I was having too much fun sightseeing, and completely forgot to take notes. Anyhow, you’ll just have to visit to see these places for yourself!

French Quarter in the Winter

New Orleans, LA ~ Another great trip to NOLA! I have such fond memories of great meals and great conversations with loved ones. We took a haunted tour of the quarter at night. Downtown Boise

Boise, ID ~ While I lived in Boise, the state capitol building seemed to be under constant construction. It may have since been fully renovated, but somehow I doubt it. Another impressive aspect was the town’s cleanliness (no sarcasm implied; it was unusually clean). I have yet to visit a comparable city, except perhaps for Des Moines, IA.
