Cascade, ID ~

Cascade isn’t too far from Boise. This was a wonderful getaway. We stayed at the Bears Knight Inn, a really cute place with a huge gift shop. The town was neat, but the drive up was the most interesting part.

Winding up the mountains on a two lane road with ice and snow was teeth clenching. We had to stop a couple of times to regain our bearings. At the time I feared for our lives, thinking we might slide off the mountain side, but now I’d really like to visit again.
