Snoopy’s | Corpus Christi, TX

These pictures show the route my dog and I would take along the shoreline for morning walks. According to my dog, there is no better place to poop than on the shoreline (I always pick it up, of course). The one hazy looking picture is of a Spanish style house off of a main shoreline street. Swamp Tour | Westwego, LA

I drove to Westwego, about 20 miles away from New Orleans, for a swamp tour of Bayou Segnette. I saw all kinds of neat critters; gators, birds, and the neatest of all, a family of nutrias building a nest. The tour was relaxing and peaceful. The tour guide mentioned that he used to play in these swamps as a kid… without a boat. I’m surprised he is still alive to tell about it!
