Weatherford, TX ~ Sadly, this gem is no longer in operation. I’m glad that we had a chance to visit before their closure. The food was amazing, and the car museum was very cool and fun.

Moab, UT ~ The drive through Utah can be sparse at times. This was a pit stop on a road trip that took us through the state. This place is, like the name suggests, in the middle of nowhere, which is why I’m guessing it is a popular attraction (you stop when you can on that kind of trip). Fluvanna, TX ~ We like to take detours on road trips, just to explore. However, this detour was short lived. We felt uneasy immediately upon entering the town. I’m sure this is due to watching too many “The Hills Have Eyes” flicks. Fluvanna is about an hour and a half away from Lubbock, TX. It seems this area was deserted around the 1940’s after railways were taken over by highways. As far as I can tell, it is still a ghost town.
