Captured these beauties while strolling through D.C., mainly around the national mall and monuments. I was fortunate to have visited at the beginning of the spring bloom. Also very lucky to have had perfect weather. Overall, it was a perfect visit!

Montréal is a vibrant city, mixed with historic and modern architecture. These photos were taken on a stroll around the city. I usually jot down the names of the streets and major locations, but I was having too much fun sightseeing, and completely forgot to take notes. Another great trip to NOLA! I have such fond memories of great meals and great conversations with loved ones. We took a haunted tour of the quarter at night. The Andrew Jackson Hotel is said to be heavily haunted, and (allegedly) has very few guests who stay a full night.

While I lived in Boise, the state capitol building seemed to be under constant construction. It may have since been fully renovated. Another impressive aspect was the town’s cleanliness (no sarcasm implied; it was unusually clean). I have yet to visit a comparable city, except perhaps for Des Moines, IA.
