Colorado City, TX ~ Baker Hotel, originally Hotel Colorado, was built in 1927. Present day Colorado City is a small town, with a lot of charm and history. This hotel is a much smaller version of the famous Baker Hotel in Mineral Wells, TX.

St Francisville, LA ~ These photos were taken in 2010, with one of my first cameras, so the quality is not that great. This hotel is known to be extremely haunted. We had a few spooky events occur while staying here, but nothing too terrifying. The food and service was fantastic, and the scenery is beautiful. I’d recommend their restaurant if you are in the area, but I think that one night stay was enough for me.

Savannah, GA ~ Madison Square dates back to 1839, and features a bronze monument of Sergeant William Jasper, an American Revolutionary War soldier. St. John’s Episcopal Church (est. 1853) is also located within the square. The historic square is known to have hosted guests like General William Sherman and Robert E. Lee, and is even reported to be haunted. I call shenanigans on the ghosts. Instead you’ll find many nice restaurants and shops nearby, including the amazing Savannah College of […]

New Orleans, LA ~ Another great trip to NOLA! I have such fond memories of great meals and great conversations with loved ones. We took a haunted tour of the quarter at night. It was more of a local history lecture than a ghost hunt, but still fun. The Andrew Jackson Hotel is said to be heavily haunted, and (allegedly) has very few guests who stay a full night. Walking the Quarter at night was scary enough, but loads of […]

Boise, ID ~ This is a popular place to exercise. Located behind the penitentiary are large bluffs and walking trails. Many people park their cars at the base of the hills and walk/jog the trails. You could spend all day here depending on how far you’d like to go. Many of these pictures were taken at the top of these bluffs. As a side note, the penitentiary is said to be haunted. For those of you who are fans, the Ghost […]
