Manistee, MI ~
This town will be forever associated with my husband’s friends, and the good times we had visiting them. We don’t make it up there nearly as often as we’d like, but whenever we do we have the red carpet rolled out for us. I have so many great memories of good people, good times, and a lot of drink. The quiet times were also enjoyable; we had many peaceful strolls along the beach and even swam a bit. I can’t tell you how nice it is to swim in a large body of water without worrying about critters – The Great Lakes are grrreat!

Thanks! It is a beautiful place, but the town itself isn’t very big. I like small towns, but most of the people we know who live there don’t. That’s just the way it goes I guess. : )
