Savannah, GA ~ Madison Square dates back to 1839, and features a bronze monument of Sergeant William Jasper, an American Revolutionary War soldier. St. John’s Episcopal Church (est. 1853) is also located within the square. The historic square is known to have hosted guests like General William Sherman and Robert E.
