Wintery Winona

Winona, MN ~

This is Winona in the winter. This particular winter was mild, or so they say – I’m a Texan, all Minnesota winters are brutal to me. The aerial views were taken from E. Garvin Heights Rd., where you can drive all the way to the top of a bluff and see the entire city spanning the Mississippi. The ducks are swimming near the Winona Visitor’s Center, situated right on Lake Winona. The remaining city street pictures were taken from the Blue Heron Coffeehouse (not pictured), which serves the best food in Winona! Next best is the Bluff Country Co-op, which has outstanding homemade soups and sides made fresh daily. My tummy really misses living in Winona!
