Manistee, MI ~ This town will be forever associated with my husband’s friends, and the good times we had visiting them. We don’t make it up there nearly as often as we’d like, but whenever we do we have the red carpet rolled out for us. I have so many great memories of good people, good times, and a lot of drink. Mackinac Island, MI ~ I truly regret not getting more photos of the homes and buildings on this island. We were having too much fun I guess. This is one of the most beautiful getaways I’ve ever been on. Most travel is done by bike, buggy, or foot, which means a lot of exercise and outdoor time. The historic element is amazing. It is as if the town is preserved in time, a pristine reflection of the Victorian era. One […]

Mackinac Island, MI ~ This is one of the most beautiful places I’ve visited. There is so much history and beauty to behold. The time it takes to fully explore requires more than a typical weekend stay. Most of these pictures were captured while bicycling around the island, which is what most visitors do since not too many cars are transported over. A special thanks to Matthew Lindeman for being our expert guide and gracious host!
