Marg’s Draw Trailhead

December 29, 2018 by E. Casa de Calvo

Sedona, AZ ~ Beautiful hiking trail, roughly 4 miles. I visited in summer, and really underestimated the heat – the dry heat sneaks up on you! It was still an amazing hike. I highly recommend it for beginners like me.

San Xavier Mission | Grounds

September 22, 2018 by E. Casa de Calvo

Tuscon, AZ ~ San Xavier Mission is a historic landmark located on the Tohono O’odham Nation San Xavier Indian Reservation, 9 miles south of downtown Tucson, Arizona. These photos are of the surrounding grounds. After visiting the mission, you can take a walk up the hill to view the grotto, or visit the gift shop and food stand across the street.

Southwestern Church

May 21, 2018 by E. Casa de Calvo

Santa Fe, NM ~ The first two photos were taken within the city of Santa Fe, but the remaining were taken within an Indian reservation, location unknown (unremembered). Sometimes we just start driving in a direction until we feel like stopping. Therefore, I can’t remember how we arrived at this particular reservation outside of Santa Fe, but I do remember stopping due to the beautiful church grounds.

Cherry Blossoms

April 16, 2018 by E. Casa de Calvo

Washington, D.C. ~ Captured these beauties while strolling through D.C., mainly around the national mall and monuments. I was fortunate to have visited at the beginning of the spring bloom. Also very lucky to have had perfect weather. Overall, it was a perfect visit!

Baie Saint Paul

February 10, 2016 by E. Casa de Calvo

Québec, Canada ~ These photos were taken while visiting Parc Boisé du Quai, at the end of Rue-Sainte Anne in the city of Baie-Saint-Paul. We wandered down the only street we could find that would take us to the water. Discovering the park and walking trails was a pleasant surprise. Baie-Saint-Paul has many wonderful restaurants and historic attractions. We just need to brush up on our French, because this is an exclusively French speaking area.

Snoopy’s

February 6, 2014 by E. Casa de Calvo

Corpus Christi, TX ~ We are shivering through the third “winter vortex” blast, and I’m pining for my old hood. These pictures show the route my dog and I would take along the shoreline for morning walks. According to my dog, there is no better place to poop than on the shoreline (mommy always picks it up, of course). The one hazy looking picture is of a spanish style house off of a main shoreline street. This is architecturally an […]
