Marg’s Draw Trailhead | Sedona, AZ
Beautiful hiking trail, roughly 4 miles. I visited in the summer, and really underestimated the heat. The dry heat sneaks up on you! It was still an amazing hike. I highly recommend it for beginners like me.

Cherry Blossoms | Washington, DC
Captured these beauties while strolling through D.C., mainly around the national mall and monuments. I was fortunate to have visited at the beginning of the spring bloom. Also very lucky to have had perfect weather. Overall, it was a perfect visit!

Baie Saint Paul | Québec, Canada
These photos were taken while visiting Parc Boisé du Quai, at the end of Rue-Sainte Anne in the city of Baie-Saint-Paul. Discovering the park and walking trails was a pleasant surprise. Baie-Saint-Paul has many wonderful restaurants and historic attractions. I just need to brush up on my French, because this is an exclusively French speaking area. C’est la vie.

Tulane University | New Orleans, LA
This is only a glimpse of Tulane’s campus. The grounds are quite large, and I didn’t have enough time to see everything. Even still, I had a very pleasurable stroll on a very nice day!

Swamp Tour | Westwego, LA
I drove to Westwego, about 20 miles away from New Orleans, for a swamp tour of Bayou Segnette. I saw all kinds of neat critters; gators, birds, and the neatest of all, a family of nutrias building a nest. The tour was relaxing and peaceful. The tour guide mentioned that he used to play in these swamps as a kid… without a boat. I’m surprised he is still alive to tell about it!

Mackinac Island Mainland | Mackinac Island, MI
I truly regret not getting more photos of the homes and buildings on this island. I was having too much fun I guess. This is one of the most beautiful getaways I’ve ever been on. Most travel is done by bike, buggy, or foot, which means a lot of exercise and outdoor time. The historic element is amazing. It is as if the town is preserved in time, a pristine reflection of the Victorian era.

Garza Hotel and Theater | Post, TX
Post is a small town about 45 minutes away from Lubbock, TX. This was often a stopping point on the way out of town. These pictures were taken on a Sunday afternoon, which explains why it looks so desolate.
