Old Quebec Boardwalk

May 19, 2020 by E. Casa de Calvo

Quebec City, QC ~ Old Quebec is walled by fortifications dating back to the 17th century, and full of historic landmarks and museums. The Upper Town contains a Citadelle fort from the 1800s, the grand Château Frontenac hotel and Terrasse Dufferin, a boardwalk overlooking the St. Lawrence River.

Hok-Si-La Park

May 14, 2020 by E. Casa de Calvo

Lake City, MN ~ In the summer this park would be busy with campers, fishermen, and people enjoying a swim. The lake was completely frozen on this visit. You still have some fishermen in the winter, but ice fishing is rare in these parts. Still a beautiful sight to behold, much more impressive in person.
