The Ellis County Courthouse is located at 109 S. Jackson St, Waxahachie, TX 75165. This historic structure has been fully restored and is operational. You’ll need to visit in person to see the amazing architectural details, such as the gargoyles, carved faces on the columns, and granite stone at the base. If you stop by during the day you can even take a free tour.

One of my favorite places to be! The people are nice, the stores are unique, and there is history at every turn. Each building has an original style and most are very well maintained. Anyone who loves antiquing should consider a visit.

Montréal is a vibrant city, mixed with historic and modern architecture. These photos were taken on a stroll around the city. I usually jot down the names of the streets and major locations, but I was having too much fun sightseeing, and completely forgot to take notes. This is only a glimpse of Tulane’s campus. The grounds are quite large, and I didn’t have enough time to see everything. Even still, I had a very pleasurable stroll on a very nice day!

Another great trip to NOLA! I have such fond memories of great meals and great conversations with loved ones. We took a haunted tour of the quarter at night. The Andrew Jackson Hotel is said to be heavily haunted, and (allegedly) has very few guests who stay a full night.

If you visit New Orleans, you will most likely end up in the French Quarter at some point. These photos are a glimpse of the storefronts and residential areas of the Quarter. As a side note, you should always know where you are going while in New Orleans. Just saying.

The Peninsular Paper plant was constructed in 1867 and closed around 2001. The building pictured is the old Peninsular Paper generator house. This structure is now officially owned by the Peninsular Apartments (not pictured; located on the opposite side of the river). The remaining pictures are of the Huron River and of the Eastern Michigan University campus. Go Eagles!
