St Francisville, LA ~ These photos were taken in 2010, with one of my first cameras, so the quality is not that great.This hotel is known to be extremely haunted. We had a few spooky events occur while staying here, but nothing too terrifying. The food and service was fantastic, and the scenery is beautiful. I’d recommend their restaurant if you are in the area, but I think that one night stay was enough for me.

Tuscon, AZ ~ San Xavier is a Spanish Colonial Catholic mission founded by Father Eusebio Kino in 1692. It is the oldest intact European structure in Arizona. The interior is filled with beautiful paintings, murals, and statues. The architectural design throughout is breathtaking!

Tuscon, AZ ~ San Xavier Mission is a historic landmark located on the Tohono O’odham Nation San Xavier Indian Reservation, 9 miles south of downtown Tucson, Arizona. These photos are of the surrounding grounds. After visiting the mission, you can take a walk up the hill to view the grotto, or visit the gift shop and food stand across the street.

Washington, D.C. ~ The Supreme Court of the United States, highest federal court in the United States. Located at 1 First Street, NE Washington, DC 20543. Only passing by, did not get a chance to tour… maybe next time.

Red Wing, MN ~ Red Wing is located on the Mississippi River. It is known for natural attractions, nearby Frontenac State Park is popular for birdwatching. It is also known for, you guessed it, Red Wing Shoes and Red Wing Stoneware. Most towns situated on the Mississippi make for beautiful places to visit. This town is no exception, and has a lot of historic charm.

Red Wing, MN ~ The Red Wing Amtrak runs the Empire Builder line, which runs daily from Chicago, Seattle, and Portland, with westbound stops at Winona and Saint Paul Minnesota. The station was opened in 1905. It is located on the Mississippi River and houses the Red Wing Visitor and Convention Bureau. Savannah, GA ~ Madison Square dates back to 1839, and features a bronze monument of Sergeant William Jasper, an American Revolutionary War soldier. St. John’s Episcopal Church (est. 1853) is also located within the square. The historic square is known to have hosted guests like General William Sherman and Robert E.
